With extensive experience working within the school setting we provide a range of services and support for students, parents and teaching staff. This includes:

On-site Counselling: InPsync Psychology provides psychological services for individuals and groups on-site at school. In most cases these services are at no cost to the school or student. Students who are eligible are able to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan which entitles them to 10 individual sessions per calendar year, funded through Medicare. Benefits to on-site counselling includes; a development of a strong relationship between the psychologist and school staff to support the student and minimised disruption to the student and their family.

Wellbeing Programs: We provide a wide range of wellbeing programs which can be specifically tailored to meet the needs of the individual school. Students who are eligible are able to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan, which entitles them to 10 group training sessions per calendar year, funded through Medicare.

Programs may include:

  • Social Skills Training

  • Anxiety Management

  • Performance Psychology

  • Transition to High School

  • Tuning into Teens Parenting Program

Professional Development for Staff: We provide a range of workshops which assist school staff with developing a comprehensive understanding of common mental health difficulties presenting during childhood and adolescence and practical strategies to work with students. Workshops can be specifically tailored to meet the needs and interest areas of staff.
